Postdoctoral Associate- Preeclampsia
We are recruiting a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to study the role of complement activation in preeclampsia pathology. Our laboratory aims to understand, at the molecular level, how dysregulated complement activation during pregnancy contributes to 1) maternal complications associated with preeclampsia and 2) short- and long-term health and disease of fetus/offspring.
Participates in manuscript preparation, presenting in national and international conferences and help write grants applications.Participates in weekly lab meetings to present own data in progress and to discuss data presented by other members of the laboratory.No experience required.Recent Ph.D. degree with less than 2 years of experience
Knowledge and at least superficial work experience in high throughput screening techniques such as RNASseq, and proteomicsBaylor College of Medicine requires employees to be fully vaccinated -subject to approved exemptions-against vaccine-preventable diseases including, but not limited to, COVID-19 and influenza.Share this job
