Brandy Bottone, 32, of Plano, Texas, is planning to challenge the $215 ticket she received for driving alone in a two-or-more occupant lane on a highway in Dallas.

, according to everything that’s going on with the overturning of Roe v. Wade,” Bottone tells the Morning News. “‘So I don’t know why you’re not seeing that,’ I said.

“He was like, ‘I don’t want to deal with this.’ He said, ‘Ma’am, it means two persons outside of the body.’” Bottone tells the Morning News the officer “waved me on” to another officer, who then wrote the ticket, admitting that it most likely would be dropped if she challenged it. “This has my blood boiling. How could this be fair?” she tells the Morning News. “According to the new law, this is a life. I know this may fall on deaf ears, but as a woman, this was shocking.”
