.JoeBiden has shown he doesn't care about the plights of working people, only their opinion of him. As gas prices continue to rise, Biden's course of action will hinge on either ignoring the issue or finding the latest boogeyman, cwtremo writes.
President Joe Biden has had a complicated history with gas prices during his term. After the country enjoyed relatively low fuel prices during the Trump administration, prices skyrocketed to record highs in 2022. Biden, who campaigned on accepting responsibility and not passing blame on others, subsequently attributed the hike to Trump, Putin, the war in Ukraine, and seemingly anyone and everything but himself. Then, when prices started to drop, Biden regularly took credit.
According to AAA, the current national average for regular gas is $3.67 per gallon. Last week, it was $3.60, and a month ago, the average was $3.45. That's a pretty steep increase in a little bit of time, especially since Biden and many congressional Democrats were celebrating gas prices dropping not too long ago. When gas prices drop, Biden will hit the media circuit and brag that his economic policies and programs"are working.
President Joe Biden frequently spreads misinformation and has a long, distinguished history of entanglements with the truth. He has shown he doesn't really care about the plights of the working people in the country but only their opinion of him. His deception is part of his ploy to maintain power.
