They include: a second round of $1,200 stimulus checks, an extension of federal unemployment payments and a moratorium on evictions.
Billions in funding for testing, schools, and state and local governments is also on the line, along with liability protections for businesses. Top Trump officials, including Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin, said over the weekend that the next deal could be smaller, with more contentious issues getting pushed off to the fall. At that point, Congress would have to take those issues up in additional rescue packages.
