EXCLUSIVE: As the Royal Family head to Balmoral for their annual summer getaway, it seems likely there could be discussions about the future, royal expert Jennie Bond claims
Many members of the Royal Family have headed to Scotland for their annual summer getaway at Balmoral, including the King and Queen, as well as the Prince and Princess of Wales. The holiday has become a tradition among senior royals over the years, giving them chance to unwind and spend quality time together.
Former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond has exclusively spoken to OK! about the possibility, revealing it would be "slightly odd" for the royals to come together and not discuss what's been going on. She went on to reveal that back in the 1990s, formal discussions were more frequent at Balmoral. Jennie continued: "Back in the 90s there was a more formal setup when senior royals discussed strategy in a forum known as The Way Ahead Group. Its aim was the ensure that the monarchy stayed relevant to the modern age."
