Princess Anne once had the best comeback when a student in Moscow asked her how it felt to have Buckingham Palace as her 'private property' - and it's fair to say she wasn't impressed
Princess Anne is known for her no-nonsense approach and her ability to deliver sharp quips, something that was on full display during a student's inquiry about her living arrangements. While visiting Moscow in 1990, a student cheekily asked the Princess Royal: "How does it feel having Buckingham Palace as your private property?"
Another user lauded her, saying: "Princess Anne is such an awesome BOSS." This isn’t the first time Princess Anne's straight-talking nature has come to light – back in 1974, she famously dealt with an attempted kidnapping in typically undaunted fashion. Despite the danger, she remained polite, explaining: "I was scrupulously polite because I thought it was silly to be too rude at that stage." However, when Ball damaged her dress, her patience wore thin. "The back of my dress split and that was his most dangerous moment," she joked. "I lost my rag at that stage."
