Protesters gathered at the Port of Oakland to oppose a ship they say will pick up weapons and military equipment to Israel.
More than 100 protesters descended on the Port of Oakland in an attempt to stop a cargo ship which they said was carrying weapons bound for Israel.
The demonstration, organized by the Arab Resource and Organizing Center, went down Friday at the California port “We’re sending the alarm that the U.S. government is, in fact, sending these weapons to Israel,” AROC press coordinator Wassim Hage told SFGate. “We want people to be aware that the U.S. is going to continue to use our ports to facilitate the genocide of Palestinian people in Gaza.”and around the world since Israel launched its effort to eliminate Hamas — following the terror group’s harrowing Oct.
