The Southern African rock python is one of the largest snakes in Africa measuring up to 18 feet in length.
"I was first in the convoy driving with my boat behind me. We came down a corner and it was lying across the road. We obviously stopped and everyone got out to have a look," he said.
One of the tourists quickly jumps into the vehicle and reverses away from the snake as the animal mounts the hood. Some of the other group members can be heard laughing hysterically in the background. "When it moved onto the bonnet of the car I was kind of confused and nervous because we didn't know what to expect," Bell said.
