Alabama has had the top overall NFL draft pick only once, when the Washington Redskins selected quarterback Harry Gilmer in 1948. QB Tua Tagovailoa or WR Jerry Jeudy could become the Crimson Tide's second No. 1 pick in April.

Both players are juniors and are more than living up to the hype this season for the 4-0 and No. 2-ranked Crimson Tide, which host Ole Miss on Saturday afternoon.

Tagovailoa, a 6-foot-1 lefthander from Hawaii, has completed 77 percent of his passes for 1,300 yards, 17 touchdowns and no interceptions. His 225.3 passing efficiency and 11.61 yards per passing attempt are both third in the nation behind Oklahoma quarterback Jalen Hurts and LSU quarterback Joe Burrow.

Jeudy, meanwhile, has made Tagovailoa’s job easier. Jeudy won the Biletnikoff award last season given to the nation’s top receiver after recording 68 receptions for 1,315 yards and 14 touchdowns. This season, he has 30 catches for 404 yards and six touchdowns. Kiper calls Jeudy the most talented receiver to enter the NFL since A.J. Green and Julio Jones were selected fourth and sixth in the 2011 draft.

Football fans will have plenty of opportunities to watch Tagovailoa and Jeudy in high-profile games before they play a professional game. The Crimson Tide visit No. 23 Texas A&M on Oct. 12, host No. 4 LSU on Nov. 9 and play at No. 7 Auburn in the regular season finale on Nov. 30. If they can remain undefeated, they will play in the SEC championship game, possibly against No. 3 Georgia.
