She will wear waterproof trousers on top of standard trousers, plus a long-sleeve shirt, jumper and cardigan, plus thick socks and Wellington boots to keep her feet warm.
The Queen’s use of handbags is legendary and it's rare to see her in public without the simple but stylish accessory hooked over her left arm. It’s also rumoured that the Queen uses her handbag to signal how she’s feeling in certain situations. Apparently, if she places the bag on the floor, it’s said to mean she is bored by whoever she’s talking to, while if the bag is dangling from her left arm, it means she is feeling content.
