The 8 p.m. ET hearing is expected to feature former Trump White House press aide Sarah Matthews and former deputy national security adviser Matthew Pottinger, among other witnesses. This is the eighth Jan. 6 hearing, and it was supposed to be the last one – but now lawmakers say it’s just the end of “this series” of hearings. The committee was once thinking about wrapping up these hearings as early as spring before the target date moved to September.
