The Port of San Diego will close a portion of its public promenade to prevent large crowds from gathering during Ed Sheeran's private concert on Friday.will close a portion of its popular promenade to pedestrians on Friday during music superstar Ed Sheeran’s private, sold-out concert.
The Port says all other walkways will remain open, including other areas of the promenade and park. Officials said if crowds begin to block open walkways, Harbor Police officers would be responsible for clearing any obstruction.for the promenade for this and all events at the Rady Shell,” Port of San Diego Habor Police Department Chief Magda Fernandez told CBS 8.
