The linebacker says of the incident during the 49ers game Monday night: ‘I’m more concerned about the security guard that was hurt trying to chase him’
THOUSAND OAKS — Rams middle linebacker Bobby Wagner said he’s aware of the reports regarding the fan he tackled on the field during “Monday Night Football” filing a police report against him.
“It is what it is,” Wagner said Wednesday afternoon. “It’s behind me. Can’t really focus on it. I’m more concerned about the security guard that was hurt trying to chase him and the people.” An individual filed the police report against Wagner at 1:45 p.m. Tuesday, the Santa Clara Police Department confirmed to the Southern California News Group. TMZ Sports first reported the news and identified the individual as the fan who ran across the field near halftime ofThe man, who claimed to be a protester, had a pink smoke bomb in his hand while being chased by security guards on the field.
