Rangers are reportedly considering a move for Hearts chief executive Andrew McKinlay to replace James Bisgrove.
Rangers are on the lookout for a new chief executive after Bisgrove left the club to move to the Middle East.
Bisgrove, who initially joined as commercial and marketing director, had been at Ibrox for five years. He is leaving for newly-promoted outfit Al Qadsiah in Saudi Arabia.McKinlay - who previously worked at Scottish Golf and as a board member with the Scottish FA -was named SPFL chief executive officer of the year this season. It's claimed McKinlay is one of the names Rangers will consider while chairman John Bennett works as chief executive to allow the recruitment process to be carried out.
On Bisgrove's exit last month, Bennett commented: “I would like to thank James for the work he has done at the club over the last five years as Commercial and Marketing Director, and latterly, as our CEO. “Our commercial revenues grew significantly under James’ leadership, while in the last year, he was an integral part of the off-field restructuring the club has implemented.
“The executive team James helped shape has firmly established itself and I fully expect its momentum to be uninterrupted.Readers’ comments: You are personally liable for the content of any comments you upload to this website, so please act responsibly.
