Michael Gannon mans the phones as Celtic and Rangers fans lap up big wins while Hearts get slaughtered for Tynecastle no show
Celtic's performance at Tynecastle had their restricted number of fans off their seats – but they couldn’t help but notice the empty ones in the home stands.
Tam Williamson, Lanarkshire, said: “Hearts cut the worldwide massive Celtic support to 500 supporters at Tynecastle to accommodate their own supporters yet when the Bhoys scored their third goal Tynecastle fans evacuated quicker than the Highland Clearances. Sums them up.” Stephen Mulhern emailed: “Naismith gave Brendan Rodgers his perfect team talk when insisting cutting the Celtic fans was justified. I noticed after Celtic went two up the stadium emptied rapidly.
George Fairgrieve emailed: “Naismith thinks Hearts lost four 'sloppy' goals , he also lost two ‘sloppy’ goals against Hibs. Perhaps it’s his defence that is just ‘sloppy’ – or even himself.” But Hoops fan Kenny Wilson, Moffat, said: “A top performance from Celtic who were miles the better team. Their passing and tempo was far more like them and Brendan Rodgers is really starting to put his mark on this team. This team will only get better and we welcome the chase.
