The Parma Heights Historical Society is currently experiencing a restart of sorts.
“While I was born and raised in Parma Heights, for the last 19 years I lived in New York City where I was completing my PhD in history,” said Parma Heights Historical Society President Charles R. Kaczynski, a 1981 St. Ignatius High School graduate.
In addition to displaying various historical artifacts related to the police department, patrol officer Bradd Smith and the city’s police K9 Gunny will be in attendance. “Recognizing the past people and work from the police department helps us see how far we have come as a community and in law enforcement.”
