Along with the female U15 and U17 championships, Regina will be hosting the U22 female championship — which hasn’t been held in more than 10 years — along with a U13 female festival, which is the first of its kind. According to Pottle, female participation in lacrosse has doubled since the 2022 Canada Games, which brought interest to bring back the U22 event back and incorporate the new U13 festival, with the goal of making it a national championship in the future.Article content
