Rep. Mike Gallagher sounds alarm over China’s illegal police stations in U.S. -
Speaking in front of an unauthorized CCP ‘police station’ in New York City’s Chinatown that was recently raided by the FBI on Saturday, the Wisconsin Republican, said Beijing is carrying out a global campaign to harass and surveil those who go against the party.
Last year, the human rights organization Safeguard Defenders exposed more than 100 unauthorized CCP police stations in cities around the globe used to harass and surveil dissidents living in exile. On Saturday, Mr. Gallagher accused the CCP of exerting mafia-like influence around the globe, employing “muscle and threats” to persuade dissidents to bend to its will.
