According to Thamel, Harbaugh dropped off from the call after about 30 minutes, at which point in time the remaining coaches spent nearly an hour encouraging Petitti to take action.

I don't doubt that there are some coaches who definitely want Michigan punished, and my gut tells me that Ohio State's Ryan Day and Penn State's James Franklin are likely the leading voices in that effort. Both head coaches stand to lose the most from Michigan being able to continue on its season, so it stands to reasons that they would have the most to gain from Michigan's season coming to an abrupt end.
