Taulia Tagovailoa was most recently quarterback at Maryland.
Individual rookie minicamp invites normally aren’t worth a story in itself, but this might be an exception. Taulia Tagovailoa, quarterback and younger brother of Miami Dolphins starting QB Tua Tagovailoa, has been invited to join Seattle’s rookie minicamp. Since this is an invite and not a UDFA signing, he won’t count against the roster total. Taulia began his collegiate playing days at Alabama, but after Tua left for the NFL, he transferred to the University of Maryland.
He amassed a 23-18 record as a four-year starter, throwing for over 11,000 yards and 77 touchdowns to 37 interceptions. Tagovailoa is the all-time leader in Big Ten passing yards and holds countless school records for the Terrapins.
