Small plates, mains, desserts and Asian drinks are on the menu
If you like chicken and Asian flavours are your cup of tea, then Nottingham's newest restaurant is a win-win. The countdown has begun to the opening of Gai ZAAP.
The location, in Upper Parliament Street, was previously home of Zaap Thai supermarket, which closed earlier this year, in May. The property has been given a colourful makeover in readiness for the opening.Just like the original street food restaurant around the corner in Bromley Place, there's a signature open kitchen. The bright, trendy interior is adorned with stylish tiling and Venetian plaster to complement the innovative concept.
The new restaurant will be serving small plates and starters of crispy chicken skin, chicken cakes, tornado potatoes, chicken livers, and chicken satay. Half and whole chickens, wings, fillet burgers, and wraps are on the menu.
