It has been hailed by the Good Food Guide
Only two Lancashire restaurants have been named in this year's Good Food Guide, including one in the remote village of Grindleton.
As the only other pub and eatery in the village, the Duke of York, closed in 2017, locals had to travel for a spot of grub. That was, until the opening of The Rum Fox just across the road last year.Described as a country pub and restaurant, The Rum Fox offers seasonal, tasting, set lunch and Sunday menus in a modern and contemporary setting.
The Rum Fox is one of only two restaurants in Lancashire to have been named in the Good Food Guide 2024, for the 100 best local restaurants. This came out of an astonishing 60,000 nominations including bistros, brasseries, pubs and cafes.
