Richard Madeley has been slammed by Good Morning Britain viewers after the presenter brutally called a guest an 'idiot' during Tuesday's edition of the ITV breakfast show
Richard Madeley didn't hold back when he criticised a Good Morning Britain guest for using a controversial "skinny jab".
Journalist Charlotte Griffiths was invited onto the show and she discussed her decision to use the Wegoby injection 'pen' - one of the self-administered weight-loss jabs that have become popular worldwide - in an attempt to achieve a beach-ready body. Richard, known for his forthright opinions, called Charlotte "you idiot" live on air, causing her to quickly put her head in her hands as she received a stern reprimand from the TV personality, reports the Express.
Richard's comment sparked outrage among viewers at home, who took to social media to express their disapproval. On X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan wrote: "Richard, you can't call someone an idiot on TV". Another said: "Fancy calling your guest a idiot." A third person concurred: "Richard Madeley calling his guest Charlotte Griffiths 'an idiot.'".
