Leeds fan calls out 'coward' Rickie Fowler during The Open round
One fan at The Open did not let him forget it as he was heckled during his opening round at Hoylake on Thursday.
In a video posted on social media, on person can be heard saying: "What happened to the 49ers investment? Come on Leeds!"Fowler was asked about what happened by Kevin Van Valkenburg of the No Laying Up podcast and said: “He called me a coward for not going through with my Leeds investment.
"Relegation wasn't ideal but we got involved with the 49ers group who are purchasing a larger share in Leeds United and do the things they do which have been so successful everywhere else.
