ICYMI: Riot mined 28% less bitcoin in July and earned $9.5 million in power credits
Bitcoin miner Riot reduced its power use in July, amid a heatwave in Texas, which led to an estimated 21% cut in bitcoin production. At the same time, the company got $9.5 million in power credits, outweighing what it could have generated in mining revenues, according to its own estimates.
