was inspired by the free-spirited energy and psychedelic prints of Woodstock Music Festival in 1969. Entitled"Back to the Garden", the presentation was held at Chelsea Post Sorting Office, which appeared to be an abandoned white room, with stained glass windows, and fragrant patches of real flowers and grass.
"Back to the Garden" took us to the lawns of a dreamy music festival seen through rose-tinted glasses. It pictured a perfect place where beautiful dresses are modeled by women of diverse ages, ethnic backgrounds, and body types. There was definitely a feeling of authentic representation; like the ideals of"universal love" from the '60s and '70s were given a modern update of radical inclusivity. It's the kind of fashion week casting that we love to see.
As for the dresses, they were every ounce of the colorful, floaty perfection that Rixo is known and loved for. The prints included vibrant florals, pastel butterflies, and classic paisley prints.
