A Dumfries man who killed his neighbours’ two-year-old son in a road accident was fined £1,000 and banned from driving for a year.
He pleaded not guilty to driving without due care and attention or reasonable consideration for others using the road or public place and failing to maintain proper observation. Dalrymple’s defence counsel, Emma Toner, told the court: “Mr Dalrymple is devastated at what has happened.
