When it comes to MVPs of the closet, few shoes compare to the low-top leather sneaker for me. And, for last decade or so, I’ve been loyal to one brand. But Koio, a sneaker upstart founded in 2015, may have just changed that.

The leather is sourced from an Italian tannery that’s known for its sustainable practices, including using only natural vegetable dyes and minimizing water usage.
