The Beresheet commercial spacecraft experienced a computer reset while attempting an engine firing to move closer to moon, officials said Tuesday.
Beresheet is the first commercial lunar lander to take flight, courtesy of an Israeli non-profit called SpaceIL. On Feb. 21, a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocketto an orbit with a peak altitude of 43,000 miles or 69,000 kilometers. But now it's up to Beresheet to go the rest of the way to the moon.
