Looking for something different to do this Halloween? Then why not take your ‘guys and ghouls’ to visit the ‘BOO-tiful’ GeoEnergy Discovery Centre based next to the Mo Mowlam Play Park on the Stormont Estate in Belfast.
Delivered by the Department for the Economy , with scientific support from the Geological Survey of Northern Ireland , the GeoEnergy Discovery Centre is a key part of the GeoEnergy NI project. The project is examining both shallow and deep geothermal potential at the Stormont Estate, Belfast and College of Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise, Greenmount Campus, respectively.
What to expect at the GeoEnergy Discovery Centre The innovative centre is designed to help schools, families, businesses, and community groups find out more about geothermal energy through a range of educational resources and interactive technologies such as Virtual Reality software.
