Gordon started the season playing in only one game of back-to-back sets. The Rockets had him play both games in the first two back-to-backs of the year, but after knee soreness caused him to miss the second half of a back-to-back in Cleveland last week have reversed course. After playing on Friday against the Thunder, Gordon said he did not expect to play Saturday in the Rockets’ game in Oklahoma City.
“Really good,” he said. “This is definitely where I want to be. I always want to play well, I always want to see the team do well and that’s just what it is. I just want to be playing at a high level and that’s all I ask for: We continue to play hard, like we have been lately, and give ourselves a chance to win games.”
