It can be fairly said that the Rockets do not match up well with most teams, ranking second-to-last defensively. And the Nuggets cause matchup problems for just about everyone, ranking second offensively. “There was just a lot of cuts,” said Rockets guard Jalen Green, who returned after missing the two games of the road trip out of the break with a groin strain. “They were moving. When you play a team like that that’s always moving, you have to stay disciplined, switch and stuff.”
“There definitely are things we can lean on take,” Silas said. “Obviously, there’s similarities between Jokic and Alpi, and the cutting and shooting that they put around him makes it a fun way for them to play and an effective way for them to play. There are parts that we can add to our blueprint moving forward.”
