Warmer temperatures and sunny skies begin to break out before chances of scattered thunderstorms later this week.

Outlying locations will push the frost threshold, but winds in the 5-10 mph range should limit widespread frost development.While still below the average, temperatures still start to moderate Tuesday with highs in the low 60s under a mostly sunny sky. It'll be a breezy day as well with westerly wind gusts up to 20 mph. Temperatures will be more seasonal by Wednesday with highs returning to the upper 60s, but the pattern will become more active.
We'll see a major temperature drop behind the front for the weekend with highs back in the mid 50s and spotty showers possible.
