Romain Grosjean will race for Lamborghini in LMDh.
The Swiss-French driver, who spent the last two years in IndyCar with Dale Coyne Racing and Andretti Autosport, will make his first appearance behind the wheel of a Lamborghini at the 24 Hours of Daytona in January driving a Huracán GT3 EVO2 fielded by Iron Lynx. Grosjean will be joined by fellow factory drivers Andrea Caldarelli and Mirko Bortolotti.Lamborghini says it plans to put Grosjean in a number of GT3 races in 2023, but has not published his full schedule.
“First of all, it’s an honor to be joining Lamborghini, it’s such an iconic brand for everyone who loves cars, including myself and my kids," Grosjean said in."On top of that, I am very excited about two things: The first is starting in Daytona with the GT3 which has been very successful in Daytona and a really good team like Iron Lynx and team-mates around me, so that is going to be a nice discovery for myself.
