Manchester United's new head coach Ruben Amorim will begin work at Old Trafford on November 11 after leading Sporting CP in two further games.
Two former Manchester United captains, Roy Keane and Gary Neville , have disagreed on whether Ruben Amorim will be given enough time to turn the club's fortunes around due to the length of his contract.
Amorim signed a contract with United until June 2027 with a further year available for United to activate, should they wish to. "You won't get that, he won't get three or four years. He has only signed a two-and-a-half year deal, the manager," his former teammate and now Sky Sports punditry colleague, Keane, retorted. While Neville is confident Ineos will be patient with Amorim - as he looks to turn things around at Old Trafford - it was Keane who had the last word on the matter. "They say a type.
