Russia is reportedly secretly continuing to draft soldiers into the Ukraine war despite announcing that a partial mobilization of troops ended on Monday.

A regular semi-annual conscription effort began on Tuesday, with the Russian defense ministry previously announcing that up to 120,000 new soldiers would be drafted. Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu has claimed that none of the conscripts will be deployed to fight in Ukraine.released on Tuesday by the Institute for the Study of War says that Russian media outlets are reporting that the mobilization is continuing in secret while the conscription cycle begins.
