“Rust,” the Alec Baldwin Western that halted production after the fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, will resume filming this spring
Rust Movie Productions LLC said original and new crew members will join the remainder of the film’s production, including new on-set safety officers. The production team also said they wouldn’t use working weapons or ammunition.

“My every effort on this film will be devoted to honoring Halyna’s legacy,” Mr. Souza said in a statement. “It is a privilege to see this through on her behalf.” The production team also said a documentary will be made about Ms. Hutchins and the completion of the movie.
