The restaurant has closed due to the difficult economic climate
People in Nottingham city centre have said it is a "shame" another restaurant has closed. It was announced earlier this week that Red’s True Barbecue on Queen’s Street had shut.
Residents have voiced their sadness about the closure of the business, which was one of the city centre's most popular restaurants with its towering burgers and feasts of ribs, brisket, wings and pulled pork. A cocktail bar was also in operation inside the venue.Teaching assistant Alice Lawson, 33, of Carlton, told Nottinghamshire Live in the city centre: "It's awful that yet another restaurant has closed down. It's sad for everyone who went there and worked there.
Hannah Louise, 24, a receptionist from West Bridgford, said: "I had been there twice. It's a nice place, you get your money's worth. Whatever replaces it has big boots to fill because Red's was really popular but even the popular restaurants can't keep up with high costs. It's understandable why they've closed down."
