Olympic sailors, John Gimson and Anna Burnet, are 'using this opportunity to shine a light on the critical issue of climate change'
Two Olympic sailors are to set off on an electric vessel from Northern Ireland this morning in an attempt to break a Guinness World Record before Storm Agnes lands.
They hope to set off from Ballyholme Yacht Club for Portpatrick in Scotland in a foiling Nacra 17 around 11.30am in an attempt to break the world record. "With every mile we cover between Ballyholme and Portpatrick, we're reminding the world that urgent action is needed to protect our environment. It's not just a record we aim to break - it's a wake-up call we hope the world will heed."
"Climate change is a global crisis that poses significant risks to businesses, including supply chain disruptions, increased operating costs, and regulatory challenges. By supporting initiatives that combat climate change, businesses can contribute to a healthier planet, which in turn can reduce long-term environmental risks to their operations.
