Staying cool at school: SaintViatorHS to open with upgrades, including air conditioning
New teachers at Saint Viator High School were among the first to see all of the improvements made to the building over the summer as part of their onboarding this week. And they were amazed.

by signing up you agree to our terms of service Perhaps the biggest improvement is that the entire building is air-conditioned, including all the classrooms, the Jeuck Auditorium, Cahill Gym, hallways and stairwells.
"It used to be that the teacher area was up here," he said gesturing to the front of the classroom,"and the student area was over there. Now, I can go to the center of the room, so it's an immersion experience."

Blount High School remains closed because of air conditioning problemsBlount High School will remain closed Wednesday due to air conditioning problems. School officials say a portable chiller has been installed, but the building remains warm. They expect the school to cool down by Thursday and to resume classes then.
