Ian Clark saw a much improved performance from his side following their 13-0 loss to Newton Stewart
St Cuthbert Wanderers boss Ian Clark was delighted with the response from his players even though they’re still looking for their first points of the season.
“That was more of what I expect from the lads in terms of how they go about their business. They worked so much harder, they worked as a unit, did the basics very well, followed the instructions and game plan we set out and when you do that you get the rewards. “Saturday is a lot more what I and the club expect from the team. There’s positives to take but there’s also stuff we still need to work on.
“The reaction we got on Saturday was the work rate and how we want to play was there. I think everyone could see the desire was there, and when we came back into the changing room there was disappointment as we should have got something.
