St Johnstone manager Craig Levein has admitted his team may have got the rub of the green from the officials against Hibernian on Saturday.
Calls from the home support and players for a penalty were loud but referee Grant Irvine was not summoned to review the incident by his VAR David Munro, and Mitov was adamant after the game that Hibs had no case. Nevertheless, Levein feels it is a rare refereeing decision in the penalty box that has gone his team’s way since his Perth arrival.“I said the week before that I thought the Dundee performance was good but football is a horrible game at times. It is not a game where you get what you deserve sometimes.
“Dimi made an error against Dundee, which was the first one I can remember since Andy Kirk and I have been here. That is pretty good going.“And the back four were really good. They were brave and threw themselves in front of everything.”
