This photo was taken in 2018 but was the most special photo of 2019 for me. It was displayed at the Annenberg Space for Photography in L.A. as part of the Contact High photo exhibit this year and was also turned into a big street mural by Gustavo Zermeno Jr. in January. The image was taken one evening at Mac’s house in Studio City during a recording session; I was very thankful to be there. We miss you every day Mac.I shot Tyler's IGOR performance three separate times this year.
I took this portrait of Jorja Smith at the Genius office in Brooklyn on the second day of May. I used nothing but some fairly soft window light and fell in love with the result of doing so.A special part of every year for me is spending time with my family at my Aunt's lake house in Massachusetts. This photo reminds me of how good life feels while I'm there.My mom is my favourite artist and creates my favourite colours on the planet.
