Sam Smith was forced to correct Alex Jones after the presenter's blunder misgendered them as they discussed their dream of being a 'fisherthem'.
Fellow One Show host Ronan asked Sam: "You're a big fan of fishing?" The singer replied: "I do love fishing, yes! Yeah, I'd love to be a fisher-them." This comes after Sam caused a stir at the Brit Awards after his performance of Unholy alongside Kim Petras, and his red carpet outfit that went viral on social media. The duo performed their chart-topping single liveat London's 02 which amassed more than 100 Ofcom complaints.
