Albert Pedroza has an unexplainable autoimmune disorder where his body is attacks his lungs.
The San Antonio Fire Department shared photos of Pedroza on social media showing him recovering from surgery and smiling upon his return Thursday.
“We are thrilled to report Albert reported back to duty at SAFD today,” SAFD officials said in a tweet. “Thank you all for the prayers and support.”and shared that he has an “unexplainable autoimmune disorder where his body is attacking his own lungs.”“His amazing pictures and award-winning videos have been viewed by literally millions of people,” officials said.Back in February, we asked you to help our SAFD Brother Albert, who was in need of a double lung transplant.
