‘He did not have to die:’ San Antonio mom begged son not to shoot husband

She could not recall seeing her son go to his room to get the gun, but got in front of him when she saw him with it, hitting him several times and grabbing his arm, Garcia said through tears. The jury had to leave the courtroom several times for Bertha Garcia to view the recording of her police interview.
