Woman kills intruder during attempted home invasion on Southeast Side on April 28, 2022, according to policeA homeowner shot and killed a man who allegedly broke into her Southeast Side home late Thursday night.
Police said the unidentified man broke into the back of the home in the 600 block of Kashmuir Place just before 10 p.m. while the woman and her three children were inside. After hearing the man in the house, the woman pulled out a gun and shot the intruder in the chest, officials at the scene said.
