Alioto's on Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco announced it is closing for good. It closed during the pandemic, and will never reopen, according to the owners.
You will no longer see food being served up at one ofmost popular seafood restaurants, Alioto’s. The iconic eatery has shut its doors for good.
"It's very sad but such a long-term historic family and location has decided to be no more," said Taylor Safford, CEO of Pier 39. "I'm sure it was a really tough decision for the family." "It’s sad that things are closing down. I figured that we would come out here this weekend and would find a lot more people than are here," said Richard Bassett from Utah.
