SAN JOSE — A man was shot and killed early Friday at a popular shopping center, marking the city’s third homicide of the week, according to San Jose police.

Officers were called at about 6 a.m. to The Plant at Monterey Road and Curtner Avenue and found a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound, police said. The man died at the scene. Information about a suspect, or the circumstances leading up to the shooting, was not immediately released by police.
