An American imprisoned more than a year in Saudi Arabia over tweets critical of the Saudi crown prince was back with family members in Riyadh, but it remained unclear whether the kingdom would drop a travel ban to allow him to return home to Florida.
The 72-year-old retired project manager was imprisoned for more than a year over tweets critical of the Saudi crown prince. He had been sentenced to 19 years.
